2010 will be the second year of the Rhondda Cycle Challenge, fundraising for the Boys' and Girls' Clubs of Rhondda. Many thanks to all those who helped make last years event such a great success. Below are some of our intrepid starters who we look forward to welcoming back next year.

Date: 12th June 2010    Start Time: 10am (Form-up 9.45  Registration from 8.30)

The event will commence from the Treorchy Boys and Girls club (CF42 6UD) adjacent to the Co-op supermarket in Treorchy and continue to the Metropole Hotel  (LD1 5DY) in Llandrindod Wells.

The total course distance is approximately 100km.

Registration for the event is £10 in advance (£15 on the day) and we ask all participants to raise as much sponsorship money as possible for the clubs. Those raising in excess of £50 will be refunded the £10 registration fee. All riders will be presented with a commemorative T-shirt.

An informal social gathering will be held at the Metropole in the evening for riders and companions. Anyone wishing to stay overnight in Llandindrod Wells can get details of accommodation at hotels and guest houses by clicking on "Accommodation".
